Please join us Tuesday, June 28th for a family outing to the Flying Squirrels. The church needs the Carson Building on June 28th for Vacation Bible School, so the scouts decided to attend the Flying Squirrels game that night. We have decided to make this a family event.

Those of you that ordered tickets please pick up the tickets at next week’s meeting. The tickets are only $5 each, two dollars less than advertised. The tickets are general admission let's meet in section 215. There are 25 people attending. If you didn’t get your order in you may still come on down and purchase tickets at the gate.

If you have any additional questions please call me at 804-678-8245. I will be out of town this Tuesday.

Order of the Arrow Elections will be held on 7/5. Order of the Arrow is the honor society of the Scouts. We need every scout that is available that night to attend. If 50% of the troop is not available then the elections cannot take place.

JAMES RIVER RAFTING TRIP is booked for Saturday, July 31 at 9:00 AM. This will be a daytrip. The cost of trip is $60/person. We need on 7/5 a final headcount. Currently we have two rafts reserved for a total of 12. If more Scouts/Leaders are interested we can reserve another raft. If you cannot attend the meeting on July 5th and would like to attend please e-mail the scoutmaster at Scoutmaster@troop555.

The River Trip is the perfect trip for first time paddlers ages 9 and up. The trip takes you down the upper section of the James River with rapids ranging from class I-II.

Troop 555 Summer Camp at T Brady Saunders 7/10 – 7/16.

Final Payments are due. Our treasurer, Mr. Ames states that most boys have enough money in their scout account to cover the payment. The Scouts also need to return their merit badge selections for Summer Camp. The session we are attending is full, over 300 campers and merit badge classes are first come, first serve. It is still not too late to join us. Please see Mrs. Coffey for more details.

Ben Ward is looking to make sure Medicals are updated – Please see him if you have any questions.

If you have any current merit badge books that you are willing to part with – Please donate them to our troop library!
