I want to thank all the scouts who participated in our little service project for the church. Everyone was eager to work and the jobs got done quickly.
April PLC is scheduled for Thursday, April 19th at 7:30 PM at the Carson Building. If you are an officer and are unable to attend you must notify the Scoutmaster. We will work on April and May Meetings. Please go to link below.

Please come and welcome Troop 555’s newest scouts on Saturday, April 21st at 7:00 PM. The boys (Connor S and James W) are bridging over from Pack 740 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Woodman Road. Please attend if you are available, it is important to give the new scouts a warm welcome. All scouts and leaders attending need to wear full class As (shirt, shorts/pants, neckerchief, socks) no sashes.
Youth Leader Training is at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 28th. All youth who accepted positions on 3/27 must attend. Please contact the Scoutmaster if you have a conflict.
Leadership Positions are still available if any Scout is interested, please see the Scoutmaster.
Camping Trip to Alexandria, VA on Friday, May 11th to Saturday, May 12th– The scouts have chosen to tour Mount Vernon in the morning and bike along the Potomac River in the afternoon. We will camp at the Coast Guard Station in Alexandria. We will leave Friday evening and return Saturday night to allow the boys to be home for Mother’s Day. Due to Coast Guard Station regulations, all scouts must be signed up by May 1st!! Please contact the Scoutmaster if you have any questions.
Adult Leaders – We will need pickup trucks or vans to help take the bicycles.
Order of the Arrow Summer Service Weekend is scheduled for May 18-20, 2012. The registration form can be downloaded here. The deadline for registrations is Wednesday, May 9th. Please honor your membership and attend.
Ben Tehan’s Eagle Court of Honor is scheduled for Sunday, June 10th. More details will be posted in future updates.
Do you want to be more involved with the Troop but don’t want to go camping? Please consider joining the committee. The Troop Committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM. Duties include budget, advancement, fundraising and leadership review.
If you have any current merit badge books that you are willing to part with – Please donate them to our troop library
