Monday, November 21st will be the "sizing" night. Anyone who wants a  t-shirt must come. Sizes include S to XL.

If you want to come on the December battleship trip, put in your reservations now. Troop 96 is done with cutting it close. No last minute changes for those who would otherwise do so.
Here are some guidelines  from Max :

-The date for the trip is the 3rd-4th
-We will meet at the firehouse at 9, leave 9:30. The trip is on the long side.
-You have free roam of the ship, but there are also guided tours and classes in seamanship, morse code, and knots.
-You will need to bring a bagged lunch, all other food will be provided.
-It's a metal ship in the water during winter, it will be very cold at night.
- Bring a HEAVY sleeping bag for when the heat cuts out.
-The trip costs $50 a scout, this is all-inclusive. Bring extra if you want more food or stuff from the gift shop.
The ship is the U.S.S Massachusetts, which is located in battleship cove. For more information click this link: http://www.battleshipcove.org/camping.htm

Parents and Scouts: do we have any volunteers who are willing to do a show'n sell for the popcorn sale extension?  If it is going to be done it would work out best for next weekend, Nov 26 and Nov 27. We would have to get permission from the establishment and also pick up popcorn to sell so we need to know ASAP if we have anyone who is willing to volunteer to do this.  If not you may also sell to friends and family using the popcorn sales sheets that Mr. Conklin handed out.  If you do not have one please contact  Mr. Conklin and he will be happy to get one to you.  The sales order will have to be to me by Sunday, November 27th as the complete order must be entered to council on Monday, November 28th.  Let's all do our part for this easy fundraiser that is very beneficial to our troop.

Camp Keowa planing starts now. Adults who can come up for a couple of days should alert S.M. Tom about their situation. The time of the trip is 07/29/2012 to 08/04/2012. Anyone who wants to go on the trip must stay the whole week.

Heads up! The BSA has determined that the harsh weather we experienced may have contributed to slower popcorn sales. Those of you who are interested in continuing your sales may carry on until November 26th, at which time you will have to turn in your sales sheet to Mr. Andreniuk. You can remain “done” with selling popcorn for this year if you so desire.  The Troop recognizes that the initial deadline was set and met.  Any extra popcorn selling is entirely voluntary, and there is no pressure to continue. Thanks to Mr. Andreniuk for volunteering to see this through to the second end.
