TROOP 68’S TOP TEN NIGHTMARE CAMPOUTS FOR THE LAST TWENTY YEARS:

10. Canoe trip in the Pine Barrens. (Patrol forgot to bring the food)

09. Ressica Falls Scout Camp. (Black mole on the cabin ceiling, where the troop was staying.)

08. Winnebago Scout Camp. (An early snow storm caught the troop off guard.)

07. Wildwood Beach Jam. (Scouts found sea water in their tents, when the high tide came in.)

06. Camp Lewis Scout Reservation. (The Troop got snowed in on Sunday morning, the Troop ran out of food and firewood and the Troop didn’t get home until dinner time!)

05. Rock Hill Scout Reservation.  (Squirrels nested in the walls of the cabin where the troop was sleeping.)

04. District Fall Camporee at Watchung Reservation. (A Scout started a fire that got out of control and threatened our campsite.)

03. Sabattis Adventure Camp. (Bear problems in the Troop campsite!)

02. Warton State Forest. (The group campsite was infested with wasps, flies, flees, broken glass and an outhouse that was over flowing.)

And the number one nightmare campout is: King Point Camporee. (Showed up on the wrong weekend and left the food in the church parking lot.)
