Why Troop 65?

Troop 65 provides an exciting schedule of activities throughout the year – whitewater rafting, hiking, skiing, camping, biking, district camporees with other troops and the famous Klondike Derby are some examples.  We are also involved in a number of service projects – Adopt-a-Highway, food bank, stream cleanup, and an array of Eagle Scout projects, are among the many ways we try to help the community. We are a mid-size troop (about 30-40 boys); small enough so that each scout gets to know the other members of the troop and has plenty of leadership opportunities, but big enough so that there is always something to do.

Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend all Scouting activities. The more the parents get involved, the better the program we can provide for the boys, and the more the boys enjoy Scouting.
