Our Troops have the privilege to be Chartered by the DuPage Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post in Wheaton, IL.  Both Troops meet most Mondays starting at 7pm at the Post. We attend one week of Summer Camp every year, try to camp 8-10 months out of the year, have regular outings, local Merit Badge opportunities, and meet weekly. Our Troop provides year-round program with dedicated families and volunteers to serve the youth right here in the Chippewa District. Troop 20b was founded in 1991 and Troop 20g was founded in 2022 and both Units share a committee, meeting location, and a few other resources. Our linked Troops serve families in DuPage County.

The members of Troop 20 pride ourselves on having a troop that provides a safe environment for having fun, meeting new friends, mastering new challenges, and fostering citizenship, patriotism, responsibility, personal growth, leadership, and the appreciation of individual differences.  In this environment we provide the framework to successfully encourage each scout to learn, lead, and teach a scout run program.

Here in 20, we support a number of Den Chiefs and local Cub Scout Packs. We serve at Day Camps, Family Camp, as well as District and Council Events. We believe in supporting our fellow scouts and scouts in our little corner of the scouting world.

Troop 20 provides service to the community by participating in various service and conservation projects, supporting Veterans (as well as our Post), Eagle projects, and through assisting other community groups. Scouts are also encouraged to - Do A Good Turn Daily.

Membership is open to ALL youth ages 10-17.  For more information about joining please fill out THIS FORM and one of our volunteers will follow up with your family.
