Welcome to the Troop 200 Website
Established in 1957, Troop 200 is a boy scout troop located in Elwood, NY. We are part of Matinecock District, Suffolk County Council. As a troop, we participate in many activities including monthly camping trips, weekly troop meetings, car wash fundraisers, community service, and council events such as Webelos Woods and Polar Bear. Further most of our scouts participate in the week long summer camping trip to Yawgoog Boy Scout Camp in Rhode Island during July. We have scouts ranging from 6th grade to 12th grade who are currently active in the troop.
As a troop, we have had many eagle scouts as well. Maybe that is why our motto is "Eagle Bound!" If you would like to find out more information about our troop, please feel free to look around on this website. If you are in 6th grade or higher and you are interested in joining, please come to a troop meeting. Meetings are held every Monday night from 7PM to 9PM at James H. Boyd Intermediate School unless otherwise noted.
