It's also the fastest growing sport in the New Prague and Elko New Market areas! Presented by New Prague Area Community Education, the Trojan Rec Soccer League is available to players age 4 (by August 1st) through players entering grade 5. Participants will learn the fundamentals of soccer through fun and creative practices and then showcase what they've learned through exciting and competitive small-sized games.

  • Team Volunteers Needed Please consider sharing your time with our program. We want everyone to come play soccer but need two adult volunteers to lead each team. Your role will be to get the game or practice started, keep it going and manage substitutions. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY! We will provide a weekly practice plan to all coaches.  A $20 voucher for a future Community Education class will be given to each team volunteer at the end of the session.  Thank you in advance for helping meet this need!

Youth soccer has many benefits. Soccer is one of the best ways to stay physically fit. In soccer, it’s not your height or physical strength which will determine if you’re a good player. Rather, though natural athletic ability such as agility and quickness will help any youngster starting out in any sport, much of what makes a soccer player a “good” player has to be learned. In the sport of soccer, practice truly will pay off.
