About Me

My name is Troi-Madisynn Mashelana Boyer.  My parents let my sisters, who were 10, 9, and 6 at the time, combine all of their middles names to create my middle name.  I know, for a fact, there is no one else with MY  middle name.  Thanks family! :)  One of my nicknames, that I am willing to share, is "Little" or "Liddle" - I am often referred to as "the Liddle".  One of my favorite nicknames that was given to me by my gymnastics coach, Nikki, was "Muscles". Now, a nickname I have in middle school is "Troi Boy", and please keep in mind that I am aware of how it may seem like an insult, but it really isn't. :)

I feel pretty special because I was my mom's Mother's Day present.

Right now, I am an 11-year-old sixth grader and I have had a very successful life so far.  I attended a home daycare with a very loving "day-time surrogate" mommy, Shari. ❤  She gave me the very best love and care.  I left her when I was two and I attended
Faith, Hope & Love Preschool to get prepared for the school environment.  I was there for about a year and a half.

Then I moved on to Stepping Stones Montessori until the end of First Grade.  I excelled academically
there and then moved on to Justice Street Elementary, because a school, known for academic advancement, that shall remain unidentified, did not accept me.  THANK YOU!!  My 2nd grade teacher, Ms. Pimentel, asked for my parents' permission to have me tested for the Gifted and Talented program.  I was identified as Gifted and Talented.  My years there were filled with great teachers, friends, and advancement.  One of my biggest teacher-fans was Ms. Inaro.  I received the Academic Excellence Award when I culminated.  My 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Do, nominated me for the People to People Student Ambassador Program and as a 2012 California Young Scholar. Thank you Mrs. Do! I really appreciate it!

I can honestly say that I have been inspired by the arts since I entered this world.  My family tells me that I was fascinated by pictures and classical music almost immediately.  I have been creating recognizable art pieces since I was 12 months old.  I also love writing and have authored and illustrated several interesting short stories since learning how to read and write at the age of four.

I
love music and have been singing and enjoying all genres of music since before I could walk.  I love to dance and entertain.  I have been in several school plays and actually brought the audience to tears with a solo I performed.  I would like to continue acting, to publish my stories, and to share my art with the world.  I am currently a student at Gary Spatz’s The Playground, in Los Angeles.

I have been running track since I was five and have become an accomplished sprinter for the West Valley Eagles Track Club, where I maintain several records for my club, as well as the entire conference.  In 2011, my 4x100m relay team earned the silver medal in the AAU's Junior Olympics, which took place in New Orleans.  That was my first trip on an airplane, that I can remember.  We went to Mexico when I was 1, how fair is that?  I can't remember! Also, during 5th grade, I won the Fitness Test Award.

I am interested in obtaining a scholarship in one or all of my interests and I work very hard to maintain straight A's in school.
