Hi, and welcome to my website. I'm the owner of a 1968 Triumph gt6+. I've owned the gt6 car for about 3 years now, and it took about 1 1/2 years to get it road worthy. Lots of up and downs, but got the job done. I was the owner of a spitfire 1500 at one time, great car. Although notably a spitfire did win at LeMans 24 hr, in it's class, I decided to sell the car for more power. After searching for another British car online i read about the gt6 with the inline 6.
I learned the gt6 did well in auto racing, and also i think they look great being a fastback.  So my mind was set, It took about 2 years to find my gt6+ that came up for sale locally, that wasn't to far gone like other cars. I did look at a few gt6's, one was gt6 had the roof dented and caved in rusted. Another was MK1, rought shape and wanted to much money. The third gt6 i looked at, the seller came out drunk,  So finally i found the gt6+, the car sat in the previous sellers garage for about 25 years. The price was good so I towed it home the same night.
