Mark Mueller attended Concordia College in Seward, Nebraska, where he received his BS in education with a Lutheran teacher diploma.

Mark taught, coached, and served as athletic director at Resurrection Lutheran School in Chicago. He taught and was the head freshman basketball coach, head sophomore basketball coach, assistant varsity basketball coach, and the assistant varsity track coach at Leo High School in Chicago.

Here at Trinity, Mark has taught, coached, served as athletic director, and as the lead teacher for the middle school. Mark is an alumnus of Trinity Lutheran School. He currently teaches eighth grade, serves as athletic director and coach, and as assistant principal

Leslie Drees is a graduate of Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a K-12 Instrumental Music endorsement and a K-8 Classroom Music endorsement. Leslie has taught at Trinity since 2006. In addition to teaching band and music, she is also the Kindergarten-4th grade PE instructor.   Band, Music & PE Class Page

Judy Schroeder

Judy Schroeder attended Lyons Township Jr. College in Illinois and the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where she received her BS.

Judy has been a home economics agent in Outagamie County, Wisconsin. She was a vocational school teacher in Neenah, Menasha, Wisconsin. She taught at Appleton Sr. High in Appleton, Wisconsin. She teaches art and 7th & 8th grade life skills at Trinity.   Art & Life Skills Class Page

Choir & Language Arts -
Susan Benya

Mrs. Benya joins us this year as our 6th-8th grade Language Arts and 4th-8th grade Choir teacher. She attended Ohio State University where she received Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Music Education degrees.  She holds a Master of Music degree and a Certificate in Sacred Music from Yale University and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Iowa.  Susan also serves as Director of Music at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Susan is a lifelong church musician, accompanist, and music coach, and has taught at Trinity Lutheran School, Kirkwood Community College, Coe College, and Mount Mercy University. 

Susan and her husband, Jon, are both Ohio natives and have two teenage children who are graduates of Trinity Lutheran School.
