On March 20, 2020, Trinity United Church in Annan suspended worship services and other building use.  We have taken these steps following orders from the Grey Bruce Health Unit and in consideration of the Government of Ontario's declaration of a state of emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As the province eases the restrictions imposed because of the pandemic, folks have been asking when the church might reopen for use.  A committee has been put together to develop a reopening plan as suggested by the United Church of Canada.  Click on the "COVID-19 Updates" tab to the right to see the latest information.

It has been decided that the church will remain closed for worship until at least the end of September to allow for the impact of the return to school to be measured.  As always, we will continue to follow the advice and orders from the Grey Bruce Health Unit.

In the meantime, please check out our "Weekly Worship and News" tab on the left for the most recent Sunday's Worship from our Minister, Rev. Leslie Searles.  Stay safe and look after each other.

Welcome to Trinity United Church, Annan, Ontario.  Annan is a small village situated ten kilometers northeast of Owen Sound.   Trinity is part of the Annan Woodford pastoral charge that has a long and complex history involving other historic United, Presbyterian and Methodist congregations in North Sydenham Township dating back 160 years.  The current membership of the church includes a wide spectrum of individuals, some of whom are self-employed business or professional families who work in Owen Sound and region and prefer to live in a rural environment.  Many are employed in the field of health care and education.  There are also some active and retired farm families often with one member working off the farm in the Owen Sound area.  An increasing number of retirees are locating to the area and becoming involved in the life of the church.
We invite you to peruse our web site and get a feel for our church and the community it serves.  Feel free to share any comments or questions that might be on your mind through our online guest book.  If you are not presently linked up with a church and are looking for a church that is open and welcoming we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to one of our services.  And of course, feel free to reach out and call our Minister at any time.
Plan on joining us for Sunday worship at 10:00 a.m. Our Worship is greatly enhanced by the ministry of music, the Trinity Choir, the use of Power Point and engaging preaching.  For the children there is weekly "Kid's Church" and for those who need assistance we have an assistive listening system, a stairlift and ramp and a wheel chair accessible bathroom.

We hope you and your family will come and get to know our church family as we worship and
fellowship together at our services, events, and ministries.
