2015 Try the Tri

posted Jun 5, 2015, 5:46 AM by Cindy Regnante

Our first Try the Tri is next Wednesday June 10 and we would like to welcome Scott Casper as our new race director.   While much of the race remains familiar we are making a few adjustments this year.
·       There will be a special focus on supporting beginners with a dedicated bike rack and an onsite mentor
·       On July 8th we will host a kids race at 6:00 followed by an abbreviated Try the Tri for beginners
·       Registration forms will be completed just once at your first race
·       The pre-race meeting will be held each week at 6:15
·       This year we are asking that you volunteer once for each 4 races that you complete
·       More information to come but we are adding theme nights!
A complete description of Try the Tri can be found here:
As a reminder your membership must be current to participate.  If not, you can renew here:
If you have a friend that would like to participate they may come as a guest once (lifetime) after which they must join TriFury to participate again.
We’re forever grateful to Claire Cloutier for building such a great introduction into our sport. The entire 2015 season will be dedicated to Claire and her vision of growing our sport and TriFury.

Hi Mrs. Cloutier,
Our names are Sarah Ubele and Annie McGee and we are students at Tyngsboro High School and are in service learning class. We are hosting a 5k road race to benefit The Boston Children Hospital. We were wondering if you could send out an email to the members of Trifury or put the link on your website to our registration page ( I attached the race flyer below. Any help you could give us would be greatly appreciated. Look forward to hearing back from you!

Last call for Run for the Troops volunteers

posted Mar 30, 2015, 5:40 AM by Cindy Regnante

There's still time to volunteer with the TriFury group who is working registration at Run for the Troops 5K in Andover on Sunday April 12th. We're working the registration table from 6:30AM until just about starting time at 9AM so you can help AND run the race too. Volunteering for this race through TriFury gets you one selected race credit. If you can't make it on Sunday, they're also looking for registration volunteers on Friday and Saturday in four hour shifts (Friday between 10-7) and Saturday ( between 10-6), so let me know if you can help out at any of these times. So far Linda McCarthy, John Gagnon, John Gagnon Jr, John Hire, Ken Shiff, Jay Powell and Tamara K are in.
