Cassandra Piccione, PA-C
Graduate of Gannon University, Nationally Certified

Cassandra left her hometown of Hamburg, NY to attend Gannon University in Erie, PA where she graduated Suma Cum Laude in 2011 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree and a Master of Physician Assistant Science degree. While attending school, she was a gross anatomy teaching assistant and her summers off were spent as part of the reception staff for UB Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.

Following graduation, she began working as an orthopedic PA full time for UB Orthopedics & Sports Medicine where her time spent included hours in clinic, ER, and OR. After a year, her career path led her to become an urgent care physician assistant at WNY Immediate Care of Cheektowaga. Six weeks later she was transferred to Mercy Ambulatory Care Center of Orchard Park. With the three years of experience gained at MACC she was then transferred to become a full time ER physician assistant at South Buffalo Mercy Hospital. It was after 4 years of growing valuable experience that she decided it was time for a change and joined our TCFM family.

At TCFM, Cassie will not only be handling chronic disease management cases but also be able to open her ER skills to you all. She would like to encourage her patients to take advantage of these services. Please see her skills set below if you are unsure what could be evaluated at TCFM in hopes of avoiding an urgent care visit:

sprains/strains
fractures/dislocations
splinting
foreign body removal
sutures/lacerations
incision/drainage

Not only if these unfortunate instances occur, if you have a common ailment you aren't sure should be evaluated in the Er or not, you can call for an appointment here at TCFM where she can evaluate and advise as to the best treatment options for you:

cough/colds
toothaches
abdominal pain
nausea/vomiting/diarrhea
urinary complaints
back pain

Please Keep TCFM in mind for these urgent problems. Your issue may be something we can handle in the office and help you avoid spending hours in an urgent care or ER.
