Durability of Concrete
Scope: This committee is concerned with the durability of hydraulic cement concrete and its impact on the performance, service life, and sustainability of existing facilities, new construction, and repairs. The physical and chemical processes that affect concrete under service conditions, properties that contribute to concrete's response to such processes, tests for predicting and evaluating performance-related properties of concrete in structures and pavements, and corrective measures for concrete affected by distress produced from such processes are of interest to the committee.
