Transmission Garage

Reliable transmission repair shop serving Edmond, Norman, Yukon, Moore, and Oklahoma City area. The Transmission Garage has been serving Okc, Moore, Edmond, Yukon, and Norman since 2005. We started small and have stuck to the recipe for transmission building success, we only use high quality transmission parts in every automatic transmission rebuild. We offer honest, quality work for a reasonable price. All transmission work comes with a 1 year unlimired milleage warranty*. Our transmission shop works on late model Chevy, Dodge, Ford, Toyota trucks, and some Honda cars. We specialize in late model truck transmissions, but we also have full diagnostic and rebuild capabilities on cars. We are ASE certified, and we really know how to build automatic transmissions.(everybody dont, FYI)The Transmission Garage

Every rebuilt transmission comes with a warranty for a reason. The reason is to provide you with piece of mind. And the reason we can do this is because we are knowledgeable, use new transmission parts and a rebuilt transmission torque converter on every transmission rebuild. We also provide free tow up to 30 miles w/ repair or valid warranty.

We also offer free transmission diagnostics on all 93 and newer vehicles and have the proper tools to get the job done.

Above all we offer integrity, we use the back door because it doesn't matter who is looking.(God always is)

Think before you act; The cheapest price probably isnt the highest quality transmission, and the top price probably isnt either. The most honest smartest mechanic is going to be the correct choice, hence price does not come into the equation of who is offering the best job on your auto repair.

*Must purchase Hayden transmission cooler $100 installed, or pay $200 deductible if transmission overheats(ie. fluid on the tailgate).

Warranty Info

Every transmission in a non-comercial vehicle is covered by a 1 year unlimited miles warranty

Although the warranty is to protect the customer, I have decided to be straight forward about what destroys transmissions and what is not covered by the warranty.

  • Overheating  (ie. low radiator)
  • Wrong gear ratio (ie. big tires, without changing rear end gears)
  • Stuck in 3rd (ie. no power to trans, blown fuse)
  • Low fluid (Check Fluid regularly)
  • Towing in OD (check owners manual)
  • Bad driveshaft (out of balance cracks cases)
  • Vibration (breaks cases)

The warranty is to insure you have a properly built transmission with new parts, not an effort to correct ignorance or stupidity. Commercial vehicles  and all other vehicles not accepting transmission coolers will require a $200 deductible.
