Chasing Ice is showing at the Manheim Township Public Library at 595 Granite Run Drive in Lancaster, PA 17601 on November 12th 2013 at 6:00 PM.

This is an incredible must-see documentary stuffed with otherworldly time-lapse video of the accelerating and dramatic loss of our planet's store of frozen fresh water at the poles.  It has footage of a Manhattan-sized chunk of glacier breaking off into the Arctic Ocean, all so detail-filled corner to corner.

There's nothing like time-lapse video to compress time into something we humans can comprehend, to show us things we have never seen before.  From the trailer at least, this looks like one of the best uses of time-lapse video ever.

There's also no better, clearer way to cast aside the rampaging BS that like to declare "there is no climate change, nothing to look at here people."  Yes, there is something very much for people to see, and this is it.
