Alemany Farm 992 Ellsworth St, San Francisco Community workdays are the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month, the Saturdays in between (usually the 2nd and 4th Saturdays), and every Monday afternoon.   http://www.alemanyfarm.org/ 4.5 acre working organic farm. Managed by volunteers, San Francisco city officials, and residents of the Alemany community.

Free Farm 999 Eddy Street, San Francisco, CA, 94109 Workdays, Saturdays and Wednesdays from 10am to 2pm (closed during heavy rain).  The food grown is offered to the community for free in an effort to combat hunger, aid health and nutrition, and increase resource sharing and care for one another. http://thefreefarm.org/  corner of Gough and Eddy Streets
