Giuseppe is Lecturer in Environment and Development in the Department of Geography and Environmental Science, School of Human and Environmental Sciences, at the University of Reading (UK). 

He lectures and does research on the interactions of coupled human and environmental systems and on how these can be steered towards more sustainable pathways.

Dr. Lucy Ford

Lucy is a Senior Lecturer in International Relations in the Department of Social Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, at Oxford Brookes University.

Her current research interests lie mainly in the areas of International Relations Theory and International Political Economy with a particular regard to, on the one hand, governance, civil society and social movements, and on the other, to the political economy of sustainable development and the challenge of ecological thought to International Relations.

Pedro is Professor of Environmental Science, Faculty of Education, Postgraduate Programme in Environmental Citizenship, at the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil).

He has a research background and interest in public environmental and social policy, environmental management and social movements and participation with a focus on: sustainable development, water resources management, waste management, and public education and participation in environmental management.

Dr. Richard J. Nunes

Richard is Lecturer in Real Estate and Planning, in the School of Real Estate and Planning, Henley Business School, at the University of Reading (UK). 

His research interests are principally centred on local and regional economic development, and European and international spatial planning. His recent work has examined the role of knowledge in policy development, and multi-stakeholder engagement within economic restructuring processes.
