Short for post, pre, and non-operative transexual, these terms refer to transexuals and their current status of genital surgery. A post-op has already received surgery; a pre-op has not had surgery but is planning or hoping for it in the future; a non-op has decided they will not surgery. Reasons for transexuals not to have surgery include cost, health, age, and/or already feeling happy about their body. This refers to genital surgery, not chest surgery (removal of the breasts).
