I am currently an Assistant Professor of Vietnamese language and linguistics, Department of Asian and North African Studies, Ca' Foscari University of Venice. Before that, I was a faculty member at Vietnam National University Hanoi.
For the academic year 2020-2021, I am a visiting scholar at Harvard Yenching Institute.
From 2014-2016, I was a postdoctoral researcher of the project on Comparative Syntax- Layers of Structure (FWO-2009-Odysseus-Haegeman-G091409) at Ghent University (Belgium) under Professor Liliane Haegeman's guidance.
In 2013, I defended my PhD dissertation on the syntax of Vietnamese Tense and Aspect under the supervision of Professor Nigel Duffield at University of Sheffield (England).
