Tracfone Review of the LG 200c

Review of the Tracfone LG 200c

The latest Tracfone LG 200c is available in CDMA only phone areas. Tracfone only sells the CDMA phones in the parts of the country where GSM phones do not work.

Tracfone only sells GSM phones to work on the AT&T or T-Mobile GSM networks if they have good coverage in an area.

The Tracfones that are CDMA

Tracfone and Net10 are sister companies and only sell a few of the CDMA phones that work on the Verizon, Alltel, US Cellular CDMA networks. The Kyocera K126, Lg 200c, Nokia 2126 are the most common CDMA Tracfones.

It appears that gets has the best deal on service from AT&T because your phone will be set to work on their network if AT&T has service in your area.

Even if At&t, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Alltel all work in your area Tracfone will only be selling phones will be set up to use the AT&T network.

Front and Rear View of the Tracfone LG 200c

The Tracfone Lg 200c is a great little ergonomically designed Tracfone. It will fit very well into your pocket or purse. It does not have the Antenna stalk extending out from the phone like most of the CDMA Tracfones.

The LG 200C is a Single Rate Phone

This new CDMA phone is like most of the new Tracfones and it is a Single rate phone. The LG 200C will only charge you one unit for all calls including long distance, roaming and International calls.

One unit for International calls to much of the world including Mexico and South America on a single rate Tracfone. You need to go to the Tracfone Website to get directions on how to dial internationally with your phone.

Tracfone Minutes and Service Roll Over

If you keep your phone active your Tracfone Minutes and activity time will roll over. If you run out of minutes or running out of activation time before you add another Minute card you will be assigned a new phone number and you may lose your minutes or time.

Tracfone historically will let you to keep your units as long as you reactivate within 60 days, but this could easily change. Net10 (Tracfone's sister prepaid company) will not let you keep your minutes if your service expires.

Net10 also Introduced the LG 200c

Now you can get the LG 200c prepaid phone from Net 10 if you do not live in an area where either T-Mobile or AT&t work. Find great savings at

If you use more than 60 minutes a month the Net10 cell phone plan is cheaper to use than the Tracfone plan. With Net 10 Prepaid Wireless you will always get at least 100 minutes per $10 you spend.

The Battery for the LG 200c

The Tracfone Lg 200c I have came with the LGIP-431C 800 mAh 3.7 volt battery. I have had very good service from this Lithium Ion Battery. My phone normally holds a charge for up to 10 days. I use about 200 minutes a month and my phone holds a charge really well.

Do not Forget your Phone

Since I do not charge my phone very often I have a habit of forgetting my phone when I am charging it. I take my keys out of my pocket and put them next to my phone when it is on the charger. I cannot leave my house without my keys so I never forget my phone anymore.
