An innovative thinking problem solving professional with strong ethical and moral standards that believes most people want to do good most of the time.  A belief that treating other people the same way you want to be treated is the foundation for building strong relationships.  That if you help enough other people get what they want you will get what you want and that you harvest what you sow, so I try to plant good seeds everywhere I go.

 

A success oriented individual from early in life I was elected class president three out of four years and voted outstanding senior by the faculty of Wagoner High School.  As a former state wresting champion I learned that with perseverance you can accomplish almost anything. 

 

A graduate from Northeastern State University financed through partial scholarships, a variety of part time jobs and duty in the Oklahoma Army National Guard where the cadre at Oklahoma Military Academy voted me as an outstanding Officer Candidate in tactics.

 

With over 10 years experience in the Army National Guard that range from platoon leader, battalion motor officer, detachment commander to finally company commander of a heavy construction unit in Wagoner.  Responsibilities while in the National Guard are listed below, but not limited to:

 

·        Scheduling and conducting equipment maintenance

     inspections

·        Training and professional development

·        Recruitment and retention

·        Inventory control

·        Payroll and personnel evaluations

·        Policy and procedures

·        Health and safety

 

Listed below are over 25 years of private business and industry experience:

 

·        Oil and gas accounting consulting and programming for 

     Lee Keeling and  Associates

·        Fleet service maintenance programming for North

     American Van Lines

·        Materials management programming for AEP/PSO

·        Director of Information Services for TV Guide

·        Independent Life and Health Insurance Agent

 

The above experience and an MBA from the University of Phoenix are the qualifications I would bring to serve as Tulsa County Commissioner for District 1.
