Individuals emigrate from one country to another for various reasons. Some are forced to relocate, due to various complications, while others choose to move voluntarily. An immigrant is in search for new opportunities. They desire to contribute to the work force, to expose themselves to an educational atmosphere, and to live a life of prosperity and peace. This individual is willing to step into an unknown atmosphere with a different culture, but yet sustains the will to integrate himself in that particular culture. Such circumstances happen across the globe - Africa and the Middle East, the Americas, Asia and Oceania, and Europe. Within certain countries of these sectors, immigrants face political, economical, cultural, and social complications that prevent them from accomplishing their goals and aspirations in a society. All of these complications reflect the common hardships that immigrants encounter during their lives.
