Tuba Christmas Concert (Dec)

The annual Tuba Christmas is held nationwide during December.  In Baltimore it's held on a Saturday before Christmas in December at the Inner Harbor's Amphitheatre in downtown Baltimore. In the event of bad weather, the performance will be inside the Maryland Science Center.

The Heart of Maryland Men’s Chorus kicks off the event at 3pm. Then from 3:30 to 4:30pm, over 200 local musicians (along with the low brass from Baltimore Ravens Marching Band) play holiday songs on their tubas and euphoniums of all shapes and sizes:
  • First round - The musicians perform the holiday songs on their tubas and euphoniums
  • Second round - The same songs are played again while the audience sings the lyrics.
The event is FREE and fun for the whole family.

The tuba players sit on the Amphitheater seats. There is usually a large crowd so plan to come early.

Bring your chairs so you can sit near the front. And since it's outside, bring blankets and dress warm.
