I am earned my dual Masters in Elementary Education and Special Education and I hold certification in Visual Arts (K-12), Elementary Education (1-6), and Students with Disabilities (1-6). I earned my Bachelor of Science in Communications with a Minor in Studio Art from the State University of New York College at Oneonta.
After I earned my undergraduate degree I completed several advanced computer classes mastering my computer talents in Microsoft Office Suite and Graphic Design programs. Next, I ventured into the corporate world where I gained experience working with the NYC community while planning events for Mayor Giuliani and held various positions in the creative field.
I have a tremendous amount to give back to the classroom and truly enjoy teaching as well as learning from the students. Through my education and work experience I strengthened my communication, leadership, and listening skills, which enable me to develop meaningful relationships in an academic environment. Teaching is a fun and rewarding opportunity where I can bring my creative background into the classroom to involve, motivate, and inspire students to learn in an interactive setting where they can build the confidence they need for individual success.
