A Space for Making Things in Tallahassee

We are a community of people who are interested in shaping technology and using technology to shape things.

New technology such as 3-D printing and CNC tools make small scale production feasible for items that used to be either mass produced or hand crafted.

More traditional computer like technology can be modified, new software can be built and existing systems can be modified.

When these tools are combined with traditional creation skill such as metalworking, woodworking, and other crafting very little of our world can't be made, modified or otherwise adapted to the individual.

When taken together the Maker's tool kit allow them to shape the world they live in.

This is a recent article about  makers from The Economist.
