Sunday 3 August - Hungry for History does The Loxwood Joust

Following their previously successful appearances, Toni and Glenn have been invited back to entertain visitors in The Learning Zone at this summer’s Loxwood Joust, one of the best Medieval Festivals in the south east. Alongside other expert speakers, Toni will be giving two talks on each day and will be showing some of her large collection of  artefacts – and we wondered if you would like to join us?

As well as the jousting, there are minstrels and jesters;  a large living-history encampment - households and their retinue - soldiers, archers, pike-men, knights in armour, hand cannon and field guns, conducting pitched battles. Plus medieval traders with dozens of market stalls, singers, lepers, peasants and performers. There may also be an appearance of the famous Tyrannical Husband. Fun for all the family!

Would you be interested in an entertaining and educational day-out in the glorious Sussex countryside. An all-inclusive luxury coach trip, with local pick-ups leaving around 8.30am returning about 7.00pm. Price including travel, entry, and hog-roast.

    Sunday 3 August 2014  £39 per adult, £29 under 16

Huge tented learning zone and big-top style catering  space – fully licensed bar, within sight of the tilt field and plenty of hygienic, well maintained, flush portaloo-privies!
