800 years since King John laid siege to Rochester, join us for a delicious freshly prepared picnic and discover why Rochester featured so proudly in the history of the Baron's War and 
Magna Carta.
The evening will include:
Unique, private access to the keep (the tallest of it's kind) where the
Constable of the castle will welcome you,
A presentation putting the castle into context by medieval specialist Toni Mount
A delicious picnic with wine (or soft drink) and
Further period entertainment from The United Players

Please note this event is outdoors with no wet weather alternative
Appropriate outside dress is recommended.  You may bring your own chairs etc.
