Who I am:
I am Associate Professor of English and Director of Freshman Composition at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. I hold a PhD in Literacy Education with a minor in Literacy and Rhetorical Studies from the University of Minnesota. My research interests include the following subjects:
writing teacher, writing tutor and student writer identity
response to student writing
masculinity and writing
writing assessment
writing centers
democratic pedagogy
new media
educational researchers at work in Writing Studies
