２０１２年７月 ＩＳＳＥ カンファレンスの要点
Greetings Everyone, みなさまへ
We just recently completed an enjoyable and successful ISSE Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. We had a good representation of member countries that involved themselves in some positive decision making for the future of ISSE.
We'll include the full minutes on the website, but we want to emphasize some key points right away.
私たちは、先日オハイオ州シンシナティでISSE国際会議を、楽しく成功裡に終了しました。加盟国の代表者は、ISSEの将来にとって肯定的な意思決定のできる方々でした。ウェブ上に議事録を全部載せますが、重要な点をお知らせします。
1) The visiting delegation needs to send their information forms to their hosting school AT LEAST TWO (2) MONTHS prior to the scheduled visit. Not doing so may result in the cancellation of the exchange.
派遣校は、少なくても派遣予定の２ヶ月以上前に個人情報に関するフォーム（form6,7）をホスト校に送る必要があります。そうしなければ、交流のキャンセルとなる結果をまねくかも知れません。
2) In return, the hosting school will notify the visitors of their host's names AT LEAST ONE (1) MONTH prior to the scheduled visit. Communication will then be able to occur for a good month. NO MORE LAST MINUTE information sharing.
引き換えに、ホスト校は少なくても受け入れ予定の１ヶ月以上前に訪問してくれる方々にホストの名前を知らせること。そうすればたっぷり１ヶ月間コミュニケーションを取ることができます。直前での情報共有とならないように。
3) The ages of ALL participating students must be a minimum of ten (10) and maximum of twelve (12) at the time of travel. There will usually be two chaperones, so schools should plan on this. No last minute addition of students or chaperones showing up!
すべての参加児童の年齢は、旅行をする時点で最低１０歳、最高１２歳であること。通常引率者２名で、それぞれの学校はこれに沿って準備をすること。土壇場での児童または引率者の追加の無いように。
4) NO CELL PHONES, IPADS, OR ANY COMMUNICATION DEVICES are to be possessed by the students!! (Chaperones and ALL INVOLVED parents must help make this happen!)
携帯電話、iパッド、またはその他のコミュニケーション機器は、児童所有禁止。（引率者とかかわっている両親全員、この件が起こったら協力すること！）
5) Exchanges are to be three to four (3-4) weeks in length. Discussion indicated that two (2) weeks is just too short for full student impact.
交流期間は、３～４週間で。討議では、２週間では児童に効果を与えるのには短すぎると指摘。
6) All current participating schools were assigned full exchanges for 2013 and 2014. All schools owe $150.00 (US) for these exchanges. If any school turns down any exchange OR portion of an exchange that school is still responsible for the full $150.00.
現在加盟参加校のすべてに、２０１３，２０１４年の交流が割り当てられました。これらの交流に対し、１５０ＵＳドルの支払い義務あり。どの学校も、交流を断ったりしても、または一部の交流（派遣のみ又は、受け入れのみ）でも、１５０ＵＳドル支払いの責任あり。
These are just some of the key discussion items from the conference, but they are some that need to be made NOW, and hopefully, read over and over to be sure every school understands these new and old items that schools want resolved.
これらは、カンファレンスで打ち合わせた内の、いくつか大切な点です。でも、いくつかは、今すぐにでも実行する必要があります。できれば、何度も読み返していただき、これら解決すべき新しい事や古い事について、すべての学校にご理解いただきたいです。
