About

What is the mission of TOE THE LINE (toetheline.org)?

"To increase public well-being within each nation by encouraging good conduct and discouraging anti-social behaviours (i.e. urging people to toe the line with conduct)."

What is the charitable purpose of TOE THE LINE?

To increase public well-being (what) within each nation across the English speaking world (where) of the general public (who) by encouraging good conduct and discouraging anti-social behaviours (how).

What is good conduct?

This initiative does not define good conduct other than acknowledging that it should include respect for national laws and good conduct such as good manners. The initiative is very conscious that the subject requires much more national leadership as cultural clashes occur whenever host nation norms of good conduct are not mutually understood and respected. The initiative advocates a national code of conduct for each nation in order to reduce cultural clashes.

What are anti-social behaviours?

Anti-social behaviours are actions that harm or lack consideration for the well-being of others. It has also been defined as any type of conduct that violates the basic rights of another person and any behaviour that is considered to be disruptive to others in society. This can be carried out in various ways, which includes but is not limited to intentional aggression, as well as covert and overt hostility. Many people also label behaviour which is deemed contrary to prevailing norms for social conduct as anti-social behaviour.
