Toddler Celebrations: Thanksgiving

Activities

My Own Cornucopia: Roll a sheet of construction paper into a cone--a toddler cornucopia.  Let your child carry it around the house and add treasures to it.

Crafts

Handprint Turkey: Apply paint to your child's hand.  Help him press it down onto paper to make a handprint.  When it dries, help him add features such as eyes, a beak, and feet with a crayon or maker to make the handprint into a turkey.

Thanksgiving Placemats: Provide plain paper placemats or regular paper to your child--one for each person who will be joining you for Thanksgiving dinner.  Let him color them, then use them as placemats for your meal.

Thanksgiving Coloring Fun: Celebrate with Thanksgiving coloring pages from Papajan.com.
