I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Zurich and on the academic job market 2017/2018.

My research interests are Labor Economics, Macroeconomics and applied Econometrics. My PhD supervisor is Prof. Josef Zweimüller. In my Job Market Paper, I study the response of US retail prices to increases in local Minimum wages. In other ongoing projects, I analyze the employment and price response of Swiss manufacturing firms to a large unexpected exchange rate appreciation, and the response of grocery store prices to demand shocks during the great recession in the US.
