I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Zurich and a research affiliate at IZA. My primary research interests are applied Macroeconomics and Labor EconomicsI will join the research unit at Danmarks Nationalbank in fall 2018. You can find my Job Market Paper here, an overview of my research projects here, and my CV here.

In my Job Market Paper "The Pass-Through of Minimum Wages into US Retail Prices: Evidence from Supermarket Scanner Data", I study the response of grocery stores' prices to increases in minimum wages. In other ongoing projects, I analyze the employment and price response of Swiss manufacturing firms to a large unexpected exchange rate appreciation, the relationship between labor cost and automation in the US retail industry, and the response of retail prices to demand shocks during the great recession.
