TriMt Ladies Golf Club Monthly Newsletter
We’re less than a month away from the start of our 2019 Golf Season. League is starting on Tuesday, April 2nd. Don’t forget to call the Pro Shop to sign-up to play. Deadline is Sunday, March 31st at 5pm to play on Tuesday and try to notify the Pro Shop 48 hours prior to playing on Thursday. These deadlines are to ensure the Pro Shop reserves enough tee times to handle our group.
REMINDER: Our annual Teeoff is Saturday, April 6th. The application is attached. Please join us and bring a friend!
Golf Classes: If anyone is interested in getting spring training for their golf games then signup via the Clark College continuing education class “Welcome to golf” at http://ecd.clark.edu/classes/class.php?SKU=R056! Jamie Stilwell (email@example.com), Assistant Pro, from TriMt is instructing the 5 classes at the cost of only $129. Classes will start on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 6pm for an hour and run through May 14, 2019. The cost includes clubs (bring your own if you prefer), practice golf balls, and access to practice facilities. Ages 18 and over. Classes will be conducted at the Tri Mountain Golf Course, 1701 NW 299th St, Ridgefield, WA 98642. It’s a great way to start the season and it’s like signing up for group lessons (but way cheaper) and you don’t have to worry about finding other people to sign up with you.
Golf Events: The Hood River Trip has been finalized and if you’re planning on attending please let Nancy Reddish or Rene Daeda know your plans as soon as possible. Even if you’re tentative please let them know. This is just for an estimated head count & planning purposes. Final commitments should be made at the beginning of May.
Golf Handicap and Information Network (GHIN) Information: Part of your membership is creating or activating your GHIN number. As of March 1st you can start to post your scores BUT only if your GHIN is activated/reactivated. Reminder to those in the south…If you’re in an area where they post their scores year round, you are required to post your scores too. Sign up now. There is no penalty in signing up early.
Off Season FUN: Ten of our members got together on March 2nd and tried to escape from “The Kill Room at NW Escape Experience” in Vancouver, WA. Sorry to say that they did not escape this time but they had good teamwork and had a very scary good time. After bail was set they did finally make it out. The group followed up their experience with pizza & salad at Izzy’s. I’m sure they will attempt this again so keep an eye open for the invite. Help wanted!!!
