TriMt Ladies Golf Club Monthly Newsletter
For Tuesday League Cancellation: If your cancellation request is AFTER 5PM on Sunday, please text Georgie Chapman at 502-310-1533 and let her know. It’s important that Georgie knows who is playing so that she can set up the pairings and make sure we have enough tee times.
If you want to play in our weekly Leagues (Tuesday or Thursday) please call the Pro Shop (360-887-3004….press #3) to sign-up BEFORE the deadline.
Deadline is Sundays at 5pm to play on Tuesdays and you’ll need to contact the Pro Shop at least 48 hours prior to play on Thursdays. These deadlines are to ensure the Pro Shop reserves enough tee times to handle our group. Don’t be left out.
If you signed up for League Play (Tuesday or Thursday) and you find out that you cannot play, PLEASE!!! call the Pro Shop (360-887-3004….press #3) and have yourself removed from the list. The groups playing will wait as long as they can for everyone who signed up to get there before they tee off. Don’t be the one who holds up play!
REMINDER - PACE OF PLAY!!! Recently we’ve encountered some issues about pace of play. Here is the Rule of thumb…Your group needs to stay behind the group in front of you NOT in front of the group behind you. In other words…KEEP UP WITH THE GROUP IN FRONT OF YOU.
If you happen to fall behind, which will happen in a round, then try these tricks to catch up:
1. After two members have putt out then have those two move on to the next tee box and tee off.
2. If you have reached you maximum score on the hole, please pick up and move on to the next hole.
3. Play Ready Golf! If someone is still trying to find their golf ball or still has not arrived at their golf ball then go ahead and hit.
4. Walk & Talk. Don’t Stop and Talk.
5. Never walk backwards to get your cart/bag or any clubs. Leave them where you will walk to the next hole.
See Something, Say Something, Do Something!!!

Rule of the Month: Rule 3.3 Stroke Play
Purpose of Rule: Stroke play has specific Rules (particularly for scorecards and holing out) because:
· You compete against all the other players in the competition, and
· All players need to be treated equally under the Rules.
After the round, you and your marker must certify that your score for each hole is right and you must return the scorecard to the Committee.
Quote of the Week: "Figure out your weakness and don't make it your weakness anymore."-Stacy Lewis, professional golfer
