Below are some interesting tweaks for Firefox.
NOTE: ALL CHANGES ARE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
To tweak Firefox, this must be done first:
In the address bar, type the following: about: config and press Enter. Click on the button "I'll be careful, I promise!"
All values which are tweaked manually will be displayed with bold letters.
These tweaks are very useful for Firefox users with a broadband internet connection. Type in the field for the Filter the following: network.http. All keys which starts with network.http will be shown now.
Double-click with the left mouse button on the line network.http.pipelining to change the value from False to True.
Double-click on the line network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to change the value from 4 to 8 and click "OK".
The value must be between 4 and 8 but never higher than 8! If the value is changed correctly, all internet pages will load faster now!
Double-click on the line network.http.pipelining.ssl to change the value from False to True.
Double-click on the line network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server to change the value to (for example) 64.
Double-click on the line network.http.proxy.pipelining to change the value from False to True.
