Since September 2017, Dr. Wang has been an Associate Professor at ESIEE Paris, University of Gustave Eiffel, France, where she conducts her research within the LRT team of the LIGM laboratory. She obtained her Ph.D. degree from École Centrale de Nantes (LS2N lab, formerly IRCCyN) in December 2011. Her doctoral thesis, entitled "Walking Control of Biped Humanoid Robots", was supervised by Prof. Christine Chevallereau (CNRS Research Director).
She participated in the ANR R2A2 project, contributing to the walking control and stability analysis of the humanoid robot HYDROïD. From September to December 2011, she worked as a CNRS research engineer at IRCCyN on the same project.
From 2013 to 2015, she was an ERCIM postdoctoral fellow with the Hephaistos team at INRIA Sophia Antipolis, where she conducted research on gait analysis of elderly people using walking aids under the supervision of Prof. Jean-Pierre Merlet (INRIA Research Director, IEEE Fellow). She later worked on the creation of a startup dedicated to assistive robotics until 2016.
From 2016 to 2017, she was a lecturer (ATER) at the University of Versailles, where she contributed to research on wheelchair skills assessment and training in the LISV laboratory.
