Vintage Surprise Animals - Identification

In order to determine whether you animal is an actual Hasbro Surprise animal, it is useful to see if it has any tags still attached to it. If not, the mother surprise animals were always marked with a small tag in their left ear (PS for puppy or pony surprise, KS for kitty surprise etc.) The babies have a small heart-shape moulded into the underside of their head (it looks similar to the mother Puppy Surprise heart-shaped collars).

Hasbro gave all the different animals different ‘codes’ and I have included them where I know what they are (either from the box or from their tags).

I have tried to describe which animals can be found on which pages, the description preceeds the page link.
