I am currently an Associate Professor in the School of Business Administration at Oakland University. My primary academic interests are in urban and regional economics, real estate economics, and public finance - with emphasis on Michigan's economy.
Prior to OU, I was an Econometrician/Data Scientist in both the Marketing and Dealer Analytics groups at Ford Motor Credit Company, and a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Allegheny College where I taught Introduction to Microeconomics, Econometrics, and Urban Economics. I have also taught Principles of Microeconomics at Alma College, taught Introduction to Statistical Analysis for Appraisers for the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, was a research assistant at Michigan State University, and was hired as a consultant by various firms seeking statistical land valuation expertise. I completed my Ph.D. at Michigan State University in 2013 and received a B.A. from Calvin College in 2007.
