I am a Principal Economist in the Monetary Affairs Division of the Federal Reserve Board. Prior to this, I spent three years at the International Monetary Fund. I received my PhD in Economics from Trinity College Dublin in 2018 and was a visiting student at Princeton University during my doctoral studies.
My professional experience includes roles at the European Central Bank, the Deutsche Bundesbank, and the Central Bank of Ireland. My research spans macroeconomics and finance, with work published in leading journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, and Journal of Monetary Economics.
I have been recognized as one of the “Top 40 under 40” by Capital Magazin and as a “forward thinker” by Boston Consulting Group and Handelsblatt.
