Time Management for Teachers involves getting the right things done by the right person in the right place at the right time

In practice, this means that you need a system: a set of routines which you will use to get things done efficiently and effectively. This section will look at how you set up your TM4T system at the start of the school year; the next section describes how you operate this system on a day-to-day basis.

We'll start in the logical place - which is the beginning of the school year, but first have a look at TM4T's perspective on how you should spend your summer vacations (no tanning tips, I'm afraid). Click here.

Other sections of the website:

In the first section of this website we introduced the principle of analysis and emphasized the importance of understanding clearly what you need to achieve, understanding your own strengths and weaknesses, and understanding the resources you have at your disposal. In the second section, we collected all the techniques involved in setting up and operating your TM4T system, grouped them together logically and explained them in a bit more detail. To understand this practical, but tidy, material, click here. Planning is so important in TM4T that it merits a separate section; to read a little more, click here.
