The Book of Revelation is symbolic of God’s Kingdom with the saints reigning with the Lord Jesus Christ over the forces of evil for a symbolic 1,000 year period known as the Millennium. (Rev. 1:5-6; 5:9-10; 20:1-6)

The Millennium began with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to restore the truths that were lost over the centuries and also to revive the Apostolic Church that consists of both Messianic Jews and Gentile believers in the Lord Jesus Christ (Rom. 11:1-36; Eph. 2:11-22; Gal. 3:23-29; 1 Cor. 12:12-14).  There is only one Body of Christ – one Church (Eph. 4:4)

The Great Tribulation begins when the Millennium ends with the release of Satan (Rev. 20:7-9; 12:12). God's purpose for the Great Tribulation is to test everyone on earth (Lk. 21:34-36; Rev. 3:10; Acts 14:22).

The Lord Jesus Christ returns to destroy the Antichrist and also to meet the saints in the air. (2 Thess. 2:8; 1 Thess. 4:14-17) "Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, . . ." (Rev. 1:7)

“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.  And unless those days were shortened. No flesh would be saved, but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.” (Mt. 24:21-22)  The “elect” refers to the Messianic Jews (Rom. 11:1-7) and Gentile Christians (1 Pet. 2:9-10; Mt. 24:31).  While they are in the world God will protect them from the evil one (Jn. 17:15).  God will provide them a way of escape (Lk. 21:34-36; Rev. 3:10; 12:13-17).  After the Great Tribulation the Lord Jesus Christ returns to take the saints with Him to heaven (Mt. 24:29-31; Jn. 14:1-3).

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” (Rev. 21:4)

“Let us be glad and rejoice and give glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” (Rev. 19:7)

Our Lord Jesus Christ said: “On this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” (Mt. 16:18)  The church is not perfect yet, but the Lord “will present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish.” (Eph. 5:25-27; Col. 1:22; Rev. 19:7-9; 21:1-3)  Our heavenly Father is seeking true worshipers who will worship Him in spirit and truth (Jn. 4:21-24).  True worshipers are Spirit-filled believers who do God’s will and keep His commandments (Mt. 7:21-24; Rev. 14:12; 22:14). In the future those who go to heaven". . . are the ones who come out of the Great Tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." (Rev. 7:14)

General Resurrection of the just and the wicked at the same time (Dan. 12:2-3; Jn. 5:28-29).  God will have both separated; the just for eternal life and the wicked for eternal punishment (Rev. 20:11-15; Mt. 13:47-50; 25:31-46).

The elements will melt with fervent heat and the earth will be destroyed by fire (2 Pet. 3:10-14).

May God bless you
