Tierra Sonrisa (Smilling Earth) is a demonstration market garden. We employ Biodynamic/ French intensive methods along with Permaculture design and Integrated Pest Management. It is an integrated approach to growing food and a demonstration of sustainable land use. We grow a variety of vegetables, fruit and cut flowers for market. It is also home to Recovery Eco Ag Project. A nonprofit focused on education and research and agroecolgy.

We are continuing to expand trials on flower, fruit and vegetable varieties. Tierra Sonrisa is hoping to rebuild it's greenhouse this year. We are always interested in support from the community as this is an educational resource for people wanting to learn sustainable methods of growing food and market products.
