Biography

Tianyang Bai is currently a senior engineer at Qualcomm CR&D, Bridgewater, NJ, USA.  Prior to joining Qualcomm, he earned the B.E. from Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2011, and the M.S.E. and PhD from The University of Texas at Austin, TX, USA, in 2013 and 2016 respectively, all in electrical engineering. He held summer internships at Huawei Technologies in Rolling Meadow, IL, in 2013, and at Qualcomm CR&D in Bridgewater, NJ, in 2014 and 2015.  His research interests are mainly in the broad area of wireless communications and signal processing, including mmWave communications, 5G cellular networks, massive MIMO, and applications of stochastic geometry. [Resume]
