I am a Researcher @ IMPA and member of the Visgraf Lab. From Sep'24 to Jul'25, I was a Visiting Researcher @ Google DeepMind, where I collaborated with André Araujo's team. My current research lies at the intersection of Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, and Machine Learning.
I earned a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, advised by Carlos Tomei and João Paixão. My thesis introduced the discrete line fields as an extension of Forman's discrete Morse theory. I hold an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the Universidade Federal de Alagoas, supervised by Thales Miranda and Dimas Martínez, with an emphasis on discrete differential geometry.
