Get Involved

Become a Member
The easiest way to become involved is to become a member.  If you wish to join now, you can either print out the Joining Agreement
and mail it along with a
$25 check made out to "Thurston Housing Land Trust" to THLT
, P. O. Box 303, Olympia, WA 98507.

Starting with our June 9th meeting, all voting members will be what the Bylaws call "General Members."

Become a Trustee
As membership grows we'll select Trustees in these three
Three
"General Trustees" - who must be "General Members" as above.
Three
"Lessee Trustees
,
who
 must
be "Lessee Members.
Since no one is a Lessee yet, these slots should be filled initially by people who are
General M
embers and are representative of the needs of future lessees: local people of low and moderate income whose ability to own a home are severely impaired by affordability.
Three
"Public Trustees" - individuals who represent diverse community interests pertinent to our goals.  These Trustees are essential to maintain the organization's  community charitable purpose, as distinct from
what the IRS might view as
personal benefit to members.
