Who are Friends of Thrifton Hill Park?
Friends of Thrifton Hill Park is a group of people who care about Thrifton Hill Park located in Arlington's historic Maywood neighborhood and bordering the neighborhoods of Cherrydale and Woodmont. The group has been working to make the park more sustainable and healthy by removing invasive plants, planting trees, enhancing wildlife habitat, and by generally getting kids and adults alike interested in preserving and enjoying nature in their own urban nature park.
If you would like to receive announcements about park happenings or get involved, send an email to the Maywood Community Association Parks Chair.
