Jan van Ours and I have started the Erasmus Center for Applied Sports Economics (ECASE) at ESE. For more info, please click here.
I work as an assistant professor at the department of Applied Economics of the Erasmus School of Economics. I teach courses on firm strategy, industrial organization and sports economics in the MSc and BSc program in economics and business. I am also a research fellow at Tinbergen Institute and an associate member of the Erasmus Research Institute in Management (ERIM).
Before joining ESE, I worked as a PhD fellow of the Flanders Research Foundation at the University of Antwerp and as a research fellow at the University of Michigan. In 2011 I was awarded the Young Economist award from the Flemish Economic Association (VVE).
In this short video I introduce myself and (some of) my research.
