Current Research interests include: polyploidy (euploidy, allopolyploidy and aneuploidy), apomixis, phenotypic plasticity, (sky) island biogeography, Claytonia lanceolata complex (Montiaceae), alpine and desert species of Boechera (Brassicaceae), Androsace septentrionalis (Primulaceae), Silene verecunda complex (Caryophyllaceae) and the alpine flora of the San Bernardino Mountains High Country.
