During my time working on West Africa, I have initiated and co-led the design and impact evaluation of productive inclusion programs in four Sahel countries, led the social protection engagement and budget support operation in Senegal (where I was based for a couple years), the design and evaluation of the livelihoods component of Nigeria's NASSP program, the implementation and evaluation of Benin's youth employment program, the design of Niger's youth employment and productive inclusion program.

Before joining the World Bank in 2012, I was Research and Policy Fellow at SALDRU, within the University of Cape Town, South Africa. From 2008 to 2010 I was Executive Director of J-PAL South Asia in Chennai, India. I earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the Paris School of Economics.
